Morse Curling Club
- Fees - $100 individual, $250 family, $50 student
- Regular Curling - 7-8 bonspiels per season
- Super League – 2 nights a week
- Family Curling – Friday nights
- School Curling Program- skill-building and competitive
 

 



Skating
Our public outdoor skating rink complete with warm-up facility located across the street from the Morse Curling Club.
 




Golf Course

- 9 hole sand green Golf Course, with club house, located next to the campground
- Regular Tuesday Golf Night
- Membership fess - $50 per year
- $5 per round
- Regular tournaments throughout the season

 




Riding Arena
- owned and maintained by Reed Lake Horse & Pony Club
- Membership - $20 family - $10 individual

 


The Reed Lake Horse And Pony Club
is a non profit club that is a friendly, family oriented organization with a strong emphasis on promoting an active equestrian riding program. Our club’s main objective is to organize and facilitate Horse-related functions and social aspects for youth as well as adult participation in the field of horsemanship New members are always welcome whether you are a beginner
or an old pro you will feel comfortable and right at home with the Reed Lake Horse and Pony Club. We invite you to come and join us at one of our many fun family events
throughout the year.

Ball Diamonds

- Morse Minor Bass Association maintains 4 diamonds next to the public park and playground.
- Home of the Morse Royals Baseball Team.
- Organized children & youth ball teams compete with surrounding communities A great way to build skills and have fun!

 

 

 

Park & Playground
Our park is very well manicured and kept up. It is a beautiful place, with the trees, waterways and grass to spend time.
- Large playground, splash pool, and playhouse.
- Park with sheltered cookhouse and restrooms complete the beautiful park.


 

Track
- Located next to Morse School the 1 km track is well-maintained and is available for school and community use.
 



 

Camping
Our campground facilities boast trees, barbecues, picnic tables, sewage disposal, electrical and water hook-ups, and drive-through capabilities.
 

 

 

 


 

Shooting Range
Practice your shooting skills until your heart is content! The Reed Lake Gun Club offers archer, air rifle, rimfire, and larger centre fire pistol and rifle ranges.
The club has an outdoor shooting range with full silhouette targets designed for .22 and larger centre fire rifles. The Reed Lake Gun Club are host to provincial shooting competitions, and each fall, the Gun Club organizes a large gun and hobby show in the curling rink, which is always a hit
Fees are $50.00 for initial year and then $25.00 annual fee thereafter.



Recreation Centre

The Bowling and Recreation Centre is a perfect place to come to enjoy yourself. Enjoy a few frames of bowling, play pool in the three-table poolroom. There is a shuffleboard table, ping-pong table, darts and air hockey.
Facilities can accommodate things such as birthday parties, youth activity groups, and other special occasions and bookings.
The bowling alley has a full agenda including local league bowling, ladies bowling, senior’s league bowling, mixed bowling, and caters to other towns coming here to enjoy a night out. Thursday evenings are public bowling. Call to book an appointment for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Chinook Regional Library

Books, books and more books! Come borrow books for kids, education, research or read just for fun. At our library, one can borrow books for kids, education, research, and just about any topic of interest that may come to mind. Here, if they don’t have what you want, such as a book of a certain topic, it can be ordered. Such things as talking tapes are also available. Give them a cal, and you will be enlightened!



Community Hall
The Community Hall is a great place to have events such as weddings, dances, anniversaries, etc. It comes complete with tables, chairs, coffee urns, and about most everything you’ll need. Team that with one of the local caterers and you are guaranteed success! It is possible to rent the tables, chairs, and whatever else you need, separately from the hall. Contact the Town of Morse for further information and rental prices.
Join the Summer Reading Program for kids aged four to ten. They can read, play games, create crafts, and things of that sort.
Community Access Computer complete with high-speed internet access and printer are available for public use.
